Pittsburgh round 2

Here is T waiting for his embolization. We were told this was the best room on the floor.
The view was great.
Here he is the morning of surgery. This was our own private ICU room with our own bed!
After surgery. Again our own private room with TWO beds. Only someone who has spent the night in the hospital and had to share a room with strangers can understand my excitement!
This is our darling nurse Kathleen. She was one of our favorites from January. I was so happy when it was her who came and got us from recovery. She was his nurse both days here.

It only took him a few days to be up and running. I am amazed and humbled at his recovery. He is a great kid. He hasn't complained once and has a great attitude. We saw Dr. Miller two weeks after surgery and all was well. We went a few weeks ago (we see her every 4 weeks) and it was the first time since January that we have left without a prescription for an infection. YEAH!
