Christmas 2009

Ab got this doll house that is taller then she is. They all love it.
She also got this gumball machine. They all love it.

She had a great morning and was happy with everything she got.
She is also happy with everything, although the first thing she opened was underwear...
Who wouldn't be happy with more Legos? (the mom who finds them everywhere!) :)
got all he asked for and was happy with that.

It was a great day for all of us. I didn't take too many pictures or video the whole thing. I was just enjoying it like everyone else. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Happy Birthday Baby!

I can NOT believe my baby is turning 5!
She is a bundle of joy. Here are a few pictures in no particular order. I could have posted more, but the more I looked at how cute my kids were it made me want another one...
so I stopped looking.
she LOVES being in the water
Cinderella helped her have a very happy 3rd birthday
I can never resist food on the face pictures
a walk along the canal right after she learned to walk
first birthday
one of my favorite pictures
and another fave
they really do look a lot alike
I could never figure out why my parents would take pictures of me sleeping until I had my own kids. Sometimes it is the only time they are so sweet. :)
oh how I love this picture. She is the queen of pouting. She is always doing this.
she loves getting dressed up
no words for this one. She is just sweet.
Her preschool program last week.
waiting to open her presents
for all of you that really know her can't you just see her hands while we are singing to her!
new outfit

her surprise gift. We took her to the pet store for a hamster.
It didn't take her long to pick this one out.
Welcome to the family Olivia!
Happy Birthday baby. We love you!

Hanging at grandma Betty's

The kids loved being at the Gregory's. Besides just being with grandma and grandpa they had Spike and Layla to love and play with.
They couldn't get enough of these dogs.
They also had Chuck!
They couldn't get enough of Chuck either.
The girls with K
They boys and J

Loving on grandma. We miss you all and love you even more.

Salt Lake City

The day after Thanksgiving we decided to hop on the train and go see the lighting at temple Square. Here are all 15 kids. That's right 15 kids and 5 adults.
It was very tiring and a little nerve racking trying to keep track of all the kids.
They loved every minute of it.
It is hard to believe 15 years ago Chris and I were married for time and all eternity here.
I could never get tired of looking at this Temple. I think it is beautiful and the history is amazing.
I LOVE going down at Christmas time and seeing temple Square all aglow in Christmas lights.
I didn't get any good ones of all the trees in lights. It was too dark and I don't have a tripod.
You will just have to settle with these.

Thanksgiving

What a Thanksgiving to remember! First the food was fabulous. Homemade root beer, jello salad, Pioneer Woman stuffing, rolls, ham, turkey...yum!
Isn't she darling.
T did a magic show for all his cousins. They loved it and I am pretty sure he loved the attention. He is pretty good magician. He takes after his great-grandpa.
did I mention the PIES!
We got to meet little Kajsa. Adorable! The girls couldn't get enough of her.
The reason for us being so thankful this year was we all got to meet our aunt Kelly. A few years ago Sheldon was doing research on my dad's side and he found out my dad had a sister we didn't know about.
My parents flew to Florida to meet her after their mission here in NY.
My dad's other sister Jan also came for dinner. I love Jan. I have so many good memories of her. It was great to see her again. I think it has been about 15 years since I last saw her. Now I have another aunt to love.
Here is Sheldon telling us all the story of how he found Kelly.
It was a tear jerker.
This is my favorite picture of our trip.
After dinner with my family we went up to the Cracker Barrel to be with Chris' family. Here is uncle Chuck with Em. The girls love Chuck. I took more pictures, but none of them turned out. The lighting was low. They are pretty blurry.
I don't think she even made it to dinner. She was so tired. We loved being at the Cracker Barrel. That is where we always go for dinner. It was even better this year because of the company.
Like the song says "Oh there's no place like home for the holidays"
