Lets Roll

We are off to Pittsburgh. We can't express in words the thanks to all of you our dear family and friends (and strangers) for all you have done. Thank you to Linus and Margie for being so kind and understanding. To have Chris there with me will be such a comfort. THANK YOU!!!

We are so glad that this day is finally here. Please keep him in your prayers. I will hopefully update this while we are there. His surgery is on Friday. Words of encouragement will be greatly appreciated. So again I am asking all of you who read this (even those of you who don't want me to know you read this) PLEASE-leave him a message. He loves it. He is doing good. He is nervous, but who wouldn't be. I am nervous. Let's make him smile!!

Happy Birthday baby!

Today is my baby's birthday! I can't believe she is 4!
After coming down to the breakfast table to find a "Jo Bros" table cloth she said
"This is going to be the best birthday ever!"

for Jordan

I have a little nephew who lives in Florida and has never seen snow in real life. So Jordan these pictures are for you. I wish you could come and see all the snow we are getting.
We are supposed to get at least 12 inches today and then more on Sunday. It is coming down hard and fast.
It started about an hour after the kids went to school. Afternoon kindergarten was canceled. I have already shoveled the driveway twice and it look like I need to do it again.
Jordan I wish I had sun right now just as much as you want to see snow.
Maybe we can trade places.

O Christmas Tree

I have seen people try these photo's with their kids and tree and wanted to give it a try. I wish I knew how to sharpen my photos for the web, but I don't. Something I need to look up.
The only light for these pictures was the lights from the tree. I had to bump up my ISO (film speed) but I kind of like the look it gives these pictures.
This one is my favorite. I had to use a stool for my tripod...maybe I will get one from Santa.

Thanksgiving

There is nothing like a Thanksgiving post two weeks before Christmas. Oh Well!! We had a great Thanksgiving. Our family tradition is watching the Parade and then going to Cracker Barrel. We love it there. My kids love to play this game.
My darling little Ab! Such a sweetie who loves her mom more then anything. This is a good thing....most days.
I love this kid. I love that she poses for me no matter where we are.
"Mom now take a picture of me doing this"
I love her also. Do you want to know what she had for Thanksgiving dinner?
A grilled cheese sandwich.
He is the only one, other than me, who had turkey for dinner. This is the main reason why we eat out. Why would I spend the day in the kitchen cooking something that I KNOW my kids will not eat. C had pancakes, the girls had macaroni and cheese (SO GOOD here!) Chris had shrimp. The best part is that when we came home we were full and my kitchen was clean.
