This is how our spring break started. She was SO sick. Couldn't keep ANYTHING down. She laid here for three days without moving. She didn't even want to watch a movie or tv. She just laid here and slept on and off. I kept her in my room quarantined. Having all 5 home I didn't want anyone else getting sick.

In between rinsing out Amanda's bucket I tried to do a craft project with the girls. I bought clipboards and we painted the outside of them on the front and back. Very easy for the girls. I did have the cutest picture of little Ab's for you to look at right now, but blogger didn't upload it I guess.

We (I) then mod podged paper onto the clipboard.
Not too easy for the girls so I ended up doing them. This one here is little Ab's.

They turned out pretty cute and the girls love them. This in the front of E's. The back looks a little different. We used stickers and spelled her name.

Thursday C had his tonsils out. We took him in a while ago for Dr. Miller to look at him. He snores LOUD and it sounds like he gags in his sleep. Then everything with Tyler happened and she wanted to get him taken care of first. She did give him the award for largest tonsils that month.

He was so brave and I am so proud of him.

Here he is after. We had to be in recovery for 3 hours for them to watch him. He threw up everything he ate that first day. Just a side effect of the anesthesia. He is feeling much better today. He is still sore and loves that he doesn't have to go to school. He just laid in my room watching animal planet pretty much all day. He can't do any running, jumping, or playing for 2 weeks.

Thursday we also fed the missionaries. These two are our favorite! The girls LOVE them. LOVE THEM!! They always make us laugh and they have the best stories. They had a contest to see who could put the most grapes in their mouth. Chris said I shouldn't embarrass them by putting those pictures on the blog! I told them I wasn't going to make them anything because of C. We got pizza from Wegmans and I don't think they minded. We sent them home with all the leftovers which they were very excited about.

Here is T and his friend Christian. They are getting ready to go on 2-25 mile bike rides with the scouts. They started down by the hospital and ended up in Palmyra. It was along the Erie Canal trail. I am so proud of him. As we were sitting there after they had made it back and hearing not one scout needed to use the "rest truck" that would meet them every few check points. Suzy said to me "Isn't it amazing he did it and He was strong enough to make it" I would agree. 2 months ago he wouldn't have had the strength or energy to make it 50 miles!! :) I am so proud of him. (did I say that already?)
We didn't do anything exciting for spring break. The kids played with friends, had sleepovers, and just relaxed. They were so good about doing all their jobs before playing. I might be excited for summer. (please don't quote me 45 days from now)
