Can I Brag?

Of course I can brag...it's my blog.

When I started school last fall I never, in a million years, thought that I would get the grades that I did. I have never done this before...that is gotten really good grades. I did ok in high school, but it was Melinda who always brought home all "A's"

I am so proud of myself. Not only did I get good grades..I got great ones. I brought home a 4.0, that's right a 4.0. I know it was only 2 classes, but I did it all by myself (with a little help from Chris and my friend Emily proof reading papers) I did it while being a mother, wife, friend, sister,church member, taxi driver, cook, cleaner and anything else you can think of. Me... I did it!

School starts today. Wish me luck...again.

Before school starts on Monday

-balance the checkbook
-write out my bills
-finish Liseannes baby gifts
-finish Kara's baby gift (only 4 months late...maybe 5)
-make boys figure out what classes to take at Merit Badge University
-have three oldest figure out what classes to take at "Festival of Ideas"
-update blog from Thanksgiving...a hard one. I narrowed my pics down to 66.
-clean my house
-bath the dog (well make the kids bath the dog)
-make a menu
-go to Wegmans (not a hard thing to do)

This seemed much longer last night.


I planned on using my free time this break to get a few things done (like my blog) and I didn't do it. I have a new obsession that I have been doing and I am having so much fun! Now I am behind...really behind. Time to get up and working. The only problem is I was up until 1:30 not sleeping and all I want to do it stay in bed. My ipod says it is only 8 degrees outside...that doesn't include the "real feel" with the wind I hear. Brrrr. Looks like there will be no running today.

Swimming Starts

We are all so excited for Tyler to swim on the swim team. He had her first meet today and we couldn't wait, but for many different reasons. I was excited to watch him compete...the kids were excited to play their ipods for an hour....

by the time they did their flip turn T was fast enough to catch up. He came in second...only seconds behind this kid. We are so proud of him.
I can't wait to watch him for the next few months.
